SMU ANNOUNCED ITS HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

SMU announced its highly-anticipated 2017 football schedule, a slate that is highlighted by seven games on the SMU campus. Visitors to Ford Stadium will include 2016 bowl teams Tulsa, UCF, Arkansas State and North Texas. Also visiting the Hilltop will be American Athletic Conference foes Tulane and UConn, as well as in-state opponent Stephen F. Austin.

SMU will open the season with its annual Whiteout on Sept. 2 by hosting SFA and will remain at home in week two, hosting North Texas on Sept. 9.

The annual Battle for the Iron Skillet will be played in Fort Worth this season, with SMU making the trip west on Sept. 16.
